The Trading Agent
I build autonomous trading agents. The flagship reads DeFi capital flows: every dollar entering or leaving a protocol is public the moment it moves, but the market still takes three to seven days to finish pricing the exits. So I built an agent that polls protocol TVL hourly, and when a single day's outflow runs past two standard deviations of normal, it shorts the token's Hyperliquid perp the next day: PENDLE, EIGEN, and OP, the three survivors of a 46-token screen. A regime filter, hard stops, and a layered drawdown kill-switch keep it disciplined while it runs unattended. Backtested December 2023 to June 2026, net of fees: +327% (1.46 Sharpe, 80% win rate over 40 trades), beating 99.9% of 2,000 random-entry simulations. Forty trades is a small sample and the window favored shorts, so capital scales in stages against live results. Never all at once.
